friends caolan can be easy to get along with if you don't make him mad. he's a bit stern at times, but he's mostly a big goofball who tries to act serious but ultimately fails. he has a very open heart and is willing to accept just about anyone who is on his side into the rebellion. as a young boy, he did have friends. it's possible that people might remember him from before his capture and rise in ranks. although he might come off as just a strict ass, he's actually very kindhearted and loyal to those he considers his friends.
enemies just as easily as friends come along, enemies will be just as prominent in caolan's life. noble? enemy. not for the rebellion? enemy. think he's not funny? enemy. it may be just as easy to become an enemy rather than his friend. he is much like a territorial dog when his authority is questioned. just like an alpha dog, he will fight until he becomes victorious. although, he does know his place and understand that he has superiors, and respects that. another thing, he doesn't like brown nosers, and will almost instantly dislike anyone who acts like one.
lovers although romance is ideal for a lot of people, he wouldn't feel right being with a woman until he knew the lands were safe from the tyranny of the nobles. one day, though, he would like to settle down and have a beautiful family.currently he does not have eyes for anyone, but hey... people change all the time, right? if someone special were to come along, they could sweep him off his feet even before peace arrives.
