races
- HUMANS - the highest populated of the five races, humans can be found across anhrefn. because they are more spread out in location than the rest of the races, they have varied customs, behaviors, and appearances.
- HYBRIDS - hybrids are humans with unexplainable animal-like attributes. both their personalities and physical appearance are similar to the animal which they resemble; they can resemble nearly any animal, except for mythological or fictional creatures. the majority of hybrids live in le sud or noorden. each group of hybrids makes up a clan, which is usually made up of people with the same animal type.
- NEONITES - the most exotic looking of the races, the neonites are aptly named for their vibrant appearances. hair, eyes, sometimes even their skin contrasts noticeably in color compared to all the other species. it is unknown where exactly they originate from and they are spread out but a fair amount can be found living in ponente.
- LLOSGI - the darkest and the thickest skinned of the people. these people are capable of handling fire and heat with considerable ease. they can usually be found noorden's dormant volcano. orange and red are the most common of eye colors, but there is a variety. their skin is the most distinguishable of their characteristics.
- ASGELLIANS - these people are the complete opposite of the llosgi. they have nearly translucent skin and incredibly fair hair and eyes. some even think of these people as blind before realizing most of the people simply have incredibly light colored eyes. asgellians frequent places where water is very plentiful, such as along the icen river in le sud.
ranks
ROYALS - the king and queen, and the nobles assigned by the king.**
ARISTOCRATS - dukes, duchesses, lesser royalty, and the very wealthy fall into this category.
MIDDLE CLASS - merchants and the like, anyone with a decent occupation that earns their living day by day generally fall into this category.
LOWER CLASS- those struggling to find an occupation that is legal and worthwhile.
